Versatile and practical, the Tefal Quick Cup Deluxe has a 1.7 litre removable water reservoir, a flowstop system for manual or automatic flow, and a safe, cool-touch body. The machine also features an anti-splash spout, removable drip tray, and indicators for changing the cartridge or descaling.

The reservoir is a bit awkward to put in place and remove and it is quite noisy when heating water, apart from this it is an excellent product for people with restricted movement or handling problems.

The Tefal Quick cup does just what it is supposed to, hot water almost instantly.

The innovative Eco Kettle has a unique double chamber set up that allows you to measure out exactly how much water you want to boil, saving electricity, water, money and time.

The Eco Kettle ticks every box when you are trying to do your bit for the environment…. and you still get to have a great cup of tea or coffee as the water is never boiled more than once.

There are a couple of design problems. Firstly the handle does get a little warm from time to time, especially if you boil the kettle repeatedly without letting it cool down. Secondly if you overfill the reservoir with cold water it can leak out when you try to pour the hot water from the kettle.

Even with these minor faults in mind the eco kettle is one of my favourite eco products, and I believe an essential for any eco friendly kitchen or workplace.
